Glenda began teaching in 1970 after graduating from Arkansas Tech University. In 1980, she obtained a Masters Degree in Elementary Education. She has taught in 3 school districts, spending the last 30 years in the Russellville, Arkansas school district at Sequoyah Elementary School. She's taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th grades, most of those years teaching 3rd grade, however she currently teaches 4th grade.

Debbie is an SISLT graduate student at the University of Missouri-Columbia. She works as an Administrative Specialist and Trainer for the Computer Technology Integration Department at Langston University in Langston, Oklahoma, where she develops and teaches courses to faculty and staff. She has also worked as an Instructional Assistant-Technology at Fox Creek Elementary School, Douglas County School District, in the Denver, CO area as well as being a graphic designer.
