Dr. Elizabeth Swanson
Research Assistant Professor
University of Texas-Austin Meadows Center & Vaughn Gross Center, College of Education

Dr. Swanson is a Research Assistant Professor in the College of Education at The University of Texas at Austin and co-principal investigator of large-scale, IES and NICHD-funded studies of reading interventions for elementary, middle, and high school students. Research interests include effective reading instruction for students who struggle with reading, with a particular focus on students with learning disabilities.

Dr. Elizabeth (Betsy) Baker is a Professor of Literacy Studies at the University of Missouri. Dr. Baker's research interests include integration of literacy and technology, new literacies, future literacies, 21st century literacies, multimedia case-based instruction in teacher education, and sociocognition in teacher education, literacy, and new literacies.
