Robert Petrone is an assistant professor of English Education at Montana State University. His research focuses on youth cultures, ideas of adolescence in English teacher education, and the role of critical literacy and popular cultures in secondary English classrooms. In addition to several book chapters, his work has appeared in peer-reviewed journals, such as Journal of Literacy Research, English Education, Journal of Adolescent and Adult Literacy,
English Journal,
and Teaching and Teacher Education.

Professor of Literacy Studies
Department of Learning, Teaching and Curriculum, University of Missouri

Dr. Elizabeth (Betsy) Baker is a Professor of Literacy Studies at the University of Missouri. Dr. Baker's research interests include integration of literacy and technology, new literacies, future literacies, 21st century literacies, multimedia case-based instruction in teacher education, and sociocognition in teacher education, literacy, and new literacies.
